On Thursday I increased my heels collection by 100%. Oh yes. I practically stimulated the retail market all by myself, and God knows it needs some stimulation right now. As do all markets at this point in time, really. Apart from the Hammersmith Christmas market, that's big enough by now. Man who always tries to sell me cake by shouting at me, "You look like a girl who loves cake," that is not the way to sell food to a woman. I do not appreciate being called a fatty. (Although it's the bitter truth-I have such a sweet tooth that I don't even get that tingly feeling any more when I eat too much processed icing sugar. I have never had a sugar high in my life. Cross my heart.)
Ahem, aaanyway. Actually I guess my mahussive expenditure of 40 pounds wasn't that beneficial to the British retail market-having previously owned one pair of heels, increasing that collection to a whole 2 pairs wasn't much of an effort...But look how pretty they are-please make appropriate oohs and ahs as I don't want my lovely Givenchy-esque shoes to feel inadequate for not pumping enough cash into River Island's profits through their being purchased.
