--COUTURE SHOWS BY MARY ROZZI--

Being backstage at a couture show is probably my ultimate fashion dream ever. Or at least, one of them. Just being able to experience the magic in all its nitty gritty detail (oh wow, I sound like an advertiser for Disney World-but then couture is like grown up Disney dresses really)-it must be the most fantastic experience. Less so, perhaps, if it's actually your job, but as an onlooker with nothing more to do than circulate and take photos it must be surreal. These photos by Mary Rozzi (who also takes other great photos which you can see here) capture perfectly that juxtaposition between the enchanting, olde world glamour of couture and the reality of the 21st century.
