Sykes is the luxury basics brand designed by Joanna Sykes (who also designes the Freda label for Matches, and has just been appointed as the new design director of Aquascutum). I noticed it recently after seeing one of its beautiful tops on a friend (who stole it from her mother-how come my mum shops at M&S instead of Matches?). The clothes are all amazingly slouchy and silky (well-they look it, I wouldn't know myself, never having worn any of them) and perfect for lazy days when you can't be bothered to co-ordinate a complicated outfit (so basically every day for me then! But especially in weather like that we're being blessed with at the moment). I want badly.
