--TRUE BLUE--

I must have blogged about denim jackets multiple times this spring already (I'm too lazy to go through my archives to find out exactly how many times), I still don't own a denim jacket, and I still refuse to buy one because they're the kind of thing one should be able to resurrect, battered and yet intrinsically stylish, from the back of one's wardrobe. Unfortunately I've trawled all the wardrobes in my house and have come up with nothing. I predict that at some point my own battered pride will concede that wearing an Abercrombie and Fitch hoodie as a summer evening cover up is no longer ironic and is instead downright sad. However, until that point comes, I can still appreciate denim jackets/shirts on other people and look forward to the day when my closet turns into some weird version of the one in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and starts producing perfectly worn, faded denim tops of its own accord. (Imagine how cool that would be, if your cupboard was psychic and could create clothes which fitted you perfectly and were the exact manifestation of 'the ideal LBD' or whatever, that you've been visualising your whole life? Oh man, I wish I went to Hogwarts.)
