I admire those who have the guts to chop off all their hair a la Mia Farrow, but frankly I would miss having long hair so much! It has so many uses-fiddling with when bored, a flirting tool, a conversation evasion tactic, a physical barrier between your eyes and (for example) horror films, a free layer of insulation in the winter, a ladder for your prince (ok, maybe not...)-but you get my point. The only thing I wouldn't miss is the classic 'hair stuck in lip balm' moment...not so attractive.
